we in West Seattle don't consider it "our park". The vast majority of the people at the meeting last night were from West Seattle so we get calling effin cry babies for that? Nothing more than concerned citizens - the unconcerned ones didn't show up....

From the City of Seattle website:

“Lincoln Park is West Seattle’s major multi-purpose park – a nose-shaped bluff on Puget Sound just north of the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal. Switchbacks on the north and gentle trails to the south connect a mile of seawalled, rocky beaches to a bluff of grassy forests and meadows with play and picnic areas galore.” Amazingly diverse for its size, Lincoln includes 4.6 miles of walking paths, 3.9 miles of bike trails, five picnic shelters, acres of playfields, and an outdoor heated saltwater pool and bathhouse.”

Lincoln park is already a multi-purpose park. If you don't like what the park has to offer, find another place to go that does. In my mind putting a zip line in the park is the same as putting bike lanes on all the major streets - something for the few to use at the expense of the majority,

I'm glad he's finally been found. His son is Jake Anderson on Deadliest Catch. What he's shared on the show it's been so awful for the whole family. I hope they have a measure of peace now...
