Hi. I have a 4s on 5.1.1 with no blobs saved. I know I cant save blobs for 5.1.1 as its not being signed by apple anymore but what about blobs for ios6? Do I have to upgrade to it in order to save ios6 blobs. I would rather stay on 5.1.1 until an unteathered jb is released. Cydia says "the device is in the pending TSS queue". Does this mean it will automatically save my ios6 blobs sometime soon even though I'm on 5.1.1

Thanks for that. I already have a Ipsw stitched with blobs ready for restore if needed. I was just wondering if there is another way.

Hi. I have an iPhone 4 on 5.1.1 with bb1.59 that was unlocked with ultrasnow. I have just had it factory unlocked by original carrier (Vodafone UK). I installed SAM, reverted to stock and removed activation then plugged into iTunes and got congrats you are unlocked screen. All good so far. I then uninstalled Sam and ultrasnow. All works fine but now I only have 1 signal strength bar. I know it's aesthetic but it bugs me. Is a restore the only way to fix this or is there another way? Thanks

Is it possible to get an iPhone 4 into pwnd dfu mode with a broken home button. I know about using redsnow to get into normal dfu but I need pwnd as I am trying to restore to 5.1.1 with a stitched Ipsw.
Thanks in advance.

I have just upgraded to 6 then downgraded to 5.1.1 without problems. Apple still signing 5.1.1 at the moment. I agree the new maps is crap. Doesn't show street numbers and the graphics are pretty average.

Works fine using custom IPSW based on 9B206

Thanks for the help. Finally managed to reload back to 5.0.1 and seems my issues stemed from trying to use a custom IPSW made using build 9B208. Also seems i'm not the only one with the same problem. Will make a new 9B206 version and try that. Thanks again for the advice.

Please can you help me.
iPhone 4, 5.0.1, BB1.59.
I decided to update to 5.1.1 so i created a NoBB ipsw, put phone into pwned PFU, ran itunes and pointed it to the custom IPSW. Halfway through i got an error 14 and am now stuck in recovery mode. I have tried redsnow to kick me out but it gets half way through and locks up my phone, tried getting back into pwned PFD and restoring to 5.0.1 i created with ifaith but i get error 11. Tried to kick out with redsnow again and got different error on phone saying timed out and to swipe shutdown and try again. Totally stuck. Can you help?
