I hope once Breitbart and the new media take over, we can actually have debate moderators who are balanced and unbiased. Great speech and thank you!

Great work O'Keefe and Giles and Breitbart! Let's hope it becomes law & that it includes the 8.5 Billion in the "recovery package".

Big Hollywood : 'Up' Open Thread

Just got back from seeing it with my husband and daughters (6/3) and we are still talking about it. Amazing story and so beautiful to watch. The 3-D experience made it better for me unlike recent films where I feel like I'm getting a headache. I will need to see it again before I claim it as my favorite Pixar film but I really think that is just an excuse to take my kids a second time.

I saw a sign from a tea party that said: "for the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm AFRAID for my country." I think that message can be applied not only to the economic mess but our new national security "methods".

Big Hollywood : Hey Barack

I love the bit about the teleprompter and hope it stays around as long as Barack does. What stands out most to me as I watch him stumble with his words and struggle to gather his thoughts, is how he blames the "fired-up" audience members for his inablilty to finish a sentece. Could you imagine if he were answering teleprompter-free questions from actual fired-up Americans? Thanks again, Iowahawk.

Big Hollywood : Obama Apologizes to the Right People

I agree and would like to also add that the President should have realized he crossed the line the minute the comment came out of his mouth. It doesn't take a resonable person to wait for an increase in WH phone calls, or emails or silly Frank Luntz opinion polls to realize how insensitive and unfunny that comment was. If he really felt bad about what he said, he should have apologized immediately.

The show for the most part was a fairly politics free zone until Sean Penn. Mickey Rourke stuck up for GWB and got screwed. For all of Sean Penn's grandstanding, he at least gave Mickey props at the end of his speech. I think Penn probably knew deep down who the real winner was.
