Destroy The Brain! : Blu-Ray Review: DEXTER: THE FIFTH SEASON

Adrian, I always check my fail at the door before I write an article. While it is a Showtime production, CBS owns Showtime. Guess who owns CBS? Paramount. On the back of the Blu-Ray it even has a Paramount logo.

Destroy The Brain! : HorrorFAIL: The Vomit Gore Trilogy (Conclusion)

Hey Nathan! As the main guy who runs this site and shares editorial responsibilities, please lay the blame on my end as I should have proofread Nick's articles more, but at the time they were published we were under some deadlines. I will try my best to do this on the more lengthy articles. Thanks for reading!

Destroy The Brain! : Event Review: Lemp Brewery Haunted House

I attended Thursday night Teresa. They do have chainsaws (motors no blades). The LEMP history provided by this haunted attraction is historically inaccurate, so do not expect anything to be true (I would just do a tour of the Lemp Mansion for accuracy). I have Asthma. They warned anyone with Asthma to not enter. I didn't have any breathing problems but the staircase down, the elevator is gone, is covered in fog. No actors touched us, but the group ahead of us were all liquored up and would actually stop in front us because they were too scared to proceed. This, in turn, spoiled all of the scares for my group.

Destroy The Brain! : Review: NIGHTMARE ALLEY

Also, let it be known that DESTROY THE BRAIN has always supported independent filmmakers. We are proud supporters of WICKED PIXEL CINEMA as they always seem to create something interesting. My readers know that we support independent cinema. I think it is pretty apparent that you do care what these websites are thinking of you since you seem to comment on every negative review. Finally, my reviews are not the "end all be all". I know when I reviews, I look to them as guidance, not gospel.

Destroy The Brain! : Review: NIGHTMARE ALLEY

I corrected the name for you. Sorry about that. Yesterday, you commented on this review and stated "Last time i come to this site." Obviously, it wasn't. Let's get some stuff out of the way first. I don't believe filmmakers should hide behind anonymity, especially when attacking a negative review. I don't mind if you think my review is poor. Since I published it, I am putting it out there for all to see and judge. This is the same outlook you should have on your film, in my opinion. Just because you can make a film doesn't mean everyone is going to like it. Take the good with the bad. I think it is lower class to sling negative remarks towards the content we review on the site than to reveal who you are. I believe you would get more respect if you came out front stating who you were as opposed to saying you are a "guest". You have a history of doing this same shit on sites that gave your film a negative review.

We Are Movie Geeks : Review: THE ROOM

That is why I stated "Wikipedia states that it is a $30,000". From Wikipedia.org: According to Greg Ellery, the actor who portrayed Steven in The Room, Wiseau came to the Birns and Sawyer film lot, rented a studio, and bought a "complete Beginning Director package," which included the purchase of both a brand new film camera and a $30,000 digital camera intended for shooting the "making of."[10] Where did you get that number? Either way, it's ridiculous.

We Are Movie Geeks : Review: THE ROOM

This movie geek will be there Friday night! Can't wait to see the whole thing. Also, another crazy bit about the filmmaking portion of this thing is that Wiseau filmed THE ROOM simitaneously with a 35mm & a digital video camera that shot on miniDV. Wikipedia states that it was a $30,000 digital camera he shot on. The current issue of Paracinema Magazine (http;//www.paracinema.net) actually has a picture of the rig in an article they wrote about the flick.
