/Film : Which Path Will Orci, Kurtzman and Lindelof Choose For Star Trek 2?

They should do something original for the next one, but definitely pepper in set ups for later confrontations with Khan, etc. The current Star Trek was so good it made me want to see the Khan and Spock stories retold- at some point they have to confront Kirk with his refusal to accept death, as in the original movies. Do something original then pump us up with a Khan setup at the end of #2!!!

Way to go, Mueller, whoo-hoo! My enthusiasm is tempered by the knowledge of course, that TOTUS will probably replace him after this.

/Film : What Are Your Most Hated Uses of CGI in Movie History?

I second that. Anything in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but especially the gopher. Worst choice in the history of CG.

Hugh Laurie is the best Sherlock Holmes. Even Downey can't top that. Holmes has always been an exercise of the mind; the "something missing" one user noted is intellect.

/Film : JJ Abrams Says Shatner and Khan Are Possible in Star Trek Sequel

Here's what to do- have a NEW adventure in the sequel and set up Khan by marooning him during it. Then #3 is about another adventure, with Khan showing up at the end, and #4 is about Khan's vengeance. Then, of course, someone has to die in #4- either Spock or maybe Kirk, as a twist to the original series. #5 and beyond can be about bringing that person back and other adventures.
