Very sad. Dr. Riley was a wonderful person, who worked to make a difference in children's lives in the short time he was here.. History will show the gift he left Bellevue, as the kids grow into smart, hardworking adults. He was a very good man, approachabe, and had a big heart. I miss you.. Thank you for being so kind.

2 years is too long to have the DOUBLE DIPPER HENS in charge. Look what htey did in the 7 months since Dr. Riley left. They ran amok and took the whole place down with them. Karen Clark majorly screwed up the budget , used horrible cuss words through the negotiations and did not negotiatie,. Then she wanted to drag Bellevue into a lawsuit. - fully supported by the DOUBLE DIPPER HENS - because they didn't want to negotiate..

The HENS are only working to DOUBLE DIP. They are not educatorrs, they are feathering their nests.

Amen to Tony's Bone about the Bellevue Admin who are the ones at fault - not the Teachers and their union.. The old Admin ladies in the Hen House (district offices) need to go. But they won't go, because they want their double dipping pay checks and flexibile work hours.

The admin who are are double dipping and not honest and open about it - some for over 5 years collecting their salary and pension. Even with voluntary measures like the Times wrote about almost 6 years ago (see link below)- the admin have bilked taxpayers and are indulging themselves at our kids expense.

Miss Murray (a long time double dipper, made a big fuss about retiring, but didn't even clean out her desk)....they all wink at each other and wave "have a nice month offf.....have fun, and when you come back your pay check doubles!'"

Not a Native,

The teachers really don't need your fake appreciation in flowers or candy. They want to pay for a place to live, food on their table and health care for their kids.

Thank you teachers! Thank you for fighting for a better curriculum and for teaching our kids.

Spineless, then you should be very happy to know that you have payed double for Vicky Murray's public service for over 5 years. The Hens have quite the scam going.

The scam is a big transparency problem. The admin who are are double dipping and not honest and open about it - some for 5 years collecting their salary and pension. Even with voluntary measures like the Times wrote about almost 6 years ago (see link below)- the admin have bilked taxpayers and are indulging themselves at your expense (assuming you are a tax payer) and these same players pushed the teachers to strike in just a mere 7 months, breaking the bridges that Dr. Riley carefully built.. The admin ladies could have built bridges last spring. They are a nightmare.

Teachers go back to work tomorrow with an honest group of administrators.

These BSD admin played the retired/rehired scam - and some for over 5 years collecting their salary and pension. This is what KOMO news journalists should be talking about. I wonder what their pension and salary income they are making and for how long? Hey reporters....just ask them under the public disclosure act.

I was told by a good source that these top BSD admin have been retired/rehired - and some for over 5 years collecting their salary and pension. It is a scam that legislation closed the loophole on in 2007. The Times wrote about more then 5 years ago (see link), but the Bellevue admin - took full advantage of it anyway.
