Coleman doesn't care about Minnesota. All Coleman cares about is being re-elected. This is why he surrendered all his principals and switched parties and this is why he will drag it out as long as possible at the expense of the people of Minnesota, financially, and support-wise in Washington. This from the person who prematurely declared himself the winner and stated this....
"It's up to him (Franken) whether such a step is worth the tax dollars it will take to conduct," Coleman said, telling reporters he would "step back" if he were in Franken's position. (Another empty promise by the standup weasel.)
I guess when you say IDIOTS, you must be referring to yourself, as you are wrong, so let me educate you. It is the US Constitution, but the amendment's I posted apply to everyone's rights within the US, as does most of the Constitution. The rights of both citizens and non-citizens are protected by the US Constitution. However, there are some rights specifically reserved for citizens, such as the right to a Federal job and to vote. Immigration rules are administrative ones, and are mandated by Congress, not the courts......You must get all your info from Fox news, instead of reality.
Hans, thank you for your service, but the law applies to everyone. No one is above the law, no matter what party he or she comes, president or not.
Hans, it's obvious you haven't read the constitution, so here let me post some of it for you, so you CAN read it. Where does it say it doesn't apply to enemies or people we don't like?:
Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Amendment V
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Amendment VI
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Hans booby, obviously you know nothing about the constitution and are just spouting off. Why don't you read amendments 4, 5, and 6 of the consitution at least once before you make inane comments. The consitution applies to everyone, there isn't any verbage whatsoever that cherry picks. And contrary to your other comment about broadcasting our security issues, of course not, but not everything the previous administration did was a national security issue and/or executive privilege, nor is this, but that didn't stop them from using it whenever they were questioned about anything. They liked to use those excuse's for everything, whether it was or not, so they could do whatever they wanted, whether it was lawful or not.....just like Cheney and his closed door energy policy meeting with the exec's of the energy companies to write policy. Conflict of interest? Absolutely.
Did you not read what was written above, did you just not understand, or just because Obama did something it is considered a bad thing no matyter what? "It says constitutional protections against unlawful search and seizure would not apply"....and even when Bush rescinded his admin wouldn't release it, aka Cheney and company. So the consitution and laws means nothing to most of you? I can't believe the stupidity. I guess most of you would love to live in a secretiveStalinist society and would be just fine with it. The last administration considered EVERYTHING secret and no law nor the constitution stood in their way.
