Oh, sure. It's easy to give TDs without even thinking about what I had to say. Take away all the things that people hate about religion - it's cult-like tendencies, people pushing their religion on others, supremacy, hypocrisy, etc., that all comes from people and not the religion itself. Like with anything, the ideas behind religion should be taken with a grain of salt. When it comes down to it, most religions just encourage love and kindness. I see nothing wrong with that.

I'm not sure if you've read this already, but there's more to the story. My guess is that if she does actually have the winning ticket, she's claiming she lost it so that her co workers will stop harassing her. She's probably buying time to figure out how she can get away with not sharing the money. I just did the Otter Falls/ Big Creek Falls trail two weeks ago. The kid didn't really "go off of the trail." The trail splits near Big Creek Falls and most people bypass the Otter Falls trail because they don't know about it. I honestly would have missed the trail to Otter Falls but at the trailhead another hiker informed my group about it. It is definitely a must see and next time I go on this trail I'm probably going to skip Big Creek Falls and head straight to Otter Falls.

I think the point that MiddleLane is trying to make is that what does it matter if he's Asian-American since we're all American in the end. America is a diverse country so when some one simply calls another American then we should not automatically assume that the person is white.

Yes, but the pharmacist is not telling the person to take Plan B. The customer is asking for it. I know many pharmacists and they often jokingly refer to themselves as over paid cashiers. I don't understand how grabbing a requested item and ringing some one up would conflict with his/her morals. I'd be mad if i went to a store to buy condoms and the cashier refused to sell them to me because they did not believe in contraceptives.

You hit the nail on the head here. Moderation is the key word. The problem isn't the drink, it's the stupid kids who drink it. They chug one drink and since they don't feel anything right away they down another one. An hour later it's like GAME OVER.
