The most significant thing about the lions returning to the state is that there is in fact a suitable habitat for them now. The countryside has been depopulated, mega farms in the making, artificialy high population of deer and enough cover to survive. We can count on more sightings humans have nothing to fear as long as there is this many deer. 3/5 of the counties in the state had more people in 1900 than they do today. The lions return says a lot about us and our history. maybe what we need is land reform to make them retreat. Cargill,Monsanto and Mountain Lions. I'll take the lions any day
