Oh my goodness. I wish so badly I could tell you the story. You would feel like such a dumb** fool. Your ignorance is embarrassing. But good job coming up with a theory... I definitely would not have put that much effort into this.

You have tallied some points here with all the hostility you put into a KOMO post. I hope you put that much energy into your daily life. However, something tells me just the opposite. I have my suspicions about you.. But I will keep them to myself :) I must go deal with adults now (ugh).

You are so inexperienced in this topic. You definitely should not be commenting on something you are so naive about. Learn Washington State Family Law and then comment on this topic. Do you really think that multiple motions were not filed? Do you really think it took us 4 years because we were taking it easy? Go through protection orders, go through filing motions... It takes YEARS to get custody. You don't just send in a declaration and the judge grants your request. The legal system is very complicated and disappointing. There are motions filed back when you file a motion. A motion to change venue, a motion to deny, etc. We don't live in a fantasy world. And yes, there was a report filed about the CPS worker. But I'm sure you already know, nothing was done.

I'm guessing you work for CPS. I sure hope you are one of the few that actually cares and does their job thoroughly. What I stated above isn't the only thing they missed. There was more... and a lot worse. Again, I would never trust CPS with the well being of any child.

Couldn't disagree with you more. It is their obligation to at the very least, speak with the so-called victim. CPS has easy access to schools and teachers. They couldn't even make an appointment to talk with the girls teacher or counselor? That's complete BS.

My step-child was raised for 8 years by the mother. In that time, there was absolute neglect. Drugs, a revolving door for partying teens & grown men, even an ex-boyfriend who was a convicted child molester. Even a pregnant teen (from another father), was in the home. CPS was called so many times by multiple people. They always chalked it up to be a jealous ex-boyfriend calling and complaining, or a neighbor trying to get revenge. At age 6 and 7, my step child was barely in school. Constantly missing because of mom's partying. The file on the mom is thicker than a dictionary. However, it took us 4 years and thousands of dollars to get custody, plus a GAL. It took the GAL about a minute to realize that the child needed to be removed immediately! Now why in the world, when CPS had been in that home multiple times, could they do nothing? Unfortunately the damage was done in the first 8 years. My step child has years of recovery and so far it's been a lost cause.

The pregnant teen was being fed drugs by the mom while pregnant. CPS was called, nothing was done. That baby is still in their care :(

When my step child was still living with the mom, she was very sick. 104 degree temp.. The mom called us to bring her to the doctor because she couldn't afford the $20 co-pay. Even though she had been out clubbing the night before! When I showed up to pick the child up, there was a CPS investigator at her home investigating a call from one of her ex-boyfriends. When I walked in, the CPS investigator was smoking a cigarette in the tiny apartment with the mom, while my step child couldn't even stand up. I had to carry her to the car. The house was full of smoke. She could barely breath. From that day on, I lost ALL respect for CPS.

It is completely useless. It needs to be wiped out and they need to start fresh with new staff and an entirely new mission!

Well that was easy. So does this mean if someone shoots her when she walks out of prison, they will get a 50% reduced sentence?

Nope. This was just an uneducated group of idiots. It's not like they have jobs to run off and get too. What else is there to do on a Wednesday evening in the hood?

They updated it to say he died. They should arrest all the people in the hostile crowd, charge them with manslaughter. That would be 51 more thugs out of Rainier! Win Win for everyone involved!!!

It just blows my mind that all these shootings can happen while it's still light out, and there are still numerous cars and pedestrians all over, however nobody gets arrested?
