Sad to see the sports videogame market in such a decline.

pastapadre.com : EA Sports Facing Tough Decision on Tiger

All his sponsors should take the Phil Knight stance: What he does off the course is his business, what he does on the course creates business. It's just that simple. Tiger being the best golfer in the world is big business for EA, Nike, Gillette, Tag Heuer, and all the rest. EA shouldn't drop him, in my opinion. And even if they do, when all this blows over, they'd probably sign him up again anyway, a la Nike and Kobe Bryant. Can't kill the cash cow......

IMO, EA needs Tiger for their golf game. To remove him completely would be deadly to the game. And eventhough he was cheating on his wife, at least he wasn't convicted of rape (Mike Tyson) or indicted for murder (Ray Lewis). When moneys on the line, morality is a non-issue in most cases. If they decide now to distance themselves from Tiger over his infidelity, then their hypocrisy knows no bounds. (Pillage and plunder, but don't cheat on your wife!)

pastapadre.com : Fight Night Knocked Out in June Sales

Shogun is right. FNR4 sold nearly 500,000 copies in the final week of June (released June 25). I wouldn't consider that a 'knockout.' I think those are pretty impressive sales figures over a 6 day period. I think maybe July sales will be more revealing numbers.
