I agree completely about the Damon/Clooney type lib big mouth types killing their own box office by insulting the opinions of a huge portion of their potential audience. Even more perplexing to me is a producer inserting a Kathy Griffin/Garafalo into a supporting role that could be filled by hundreds of others. The recent new Criminal Minds spinoff, aimed at a Middle America audience, cast Garafalo as a series regular. How many millions of TV remotes were clicked as soon as her mug appeared?
