Thank you, Smitty. I haven't looked at this website in a while and wasn't notified properly of this comment. Sorry I missed it. I always appreciate and acknowledge a compliment, especially from an old friend. :)

Thanks for this. I was anxiously awaiting your review of the iPad. I sensed you would feel this way about it and I tend to agree; the Kindle would much better serve my needs.

Michael Hyatt Blog : Friends, Critics, and Trolls

Like you, I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. I learned a few years ago that it is best not to "feed the trolls." They can really get to you and some of them can really make you look like the bad guy when you fuel their flames. When you put yourself out there, especially on the web, as you stated, criticism is inevitable. I wish everyone would just agree to disagree but unfortunately not everyone will take that route. Thanks for a very factual and informative article that hits home.

Sorry, Deirdre, I never saw this. I don't know why I didn't get notified when you commented. I went to Benjamin Cardozo HS when I lived in Bayside. Thanks for reading my blog and finding it interesting.

Michael Hyatt Blog : Results of My 2009 Reader Survey

I'm certainly not one of those in the $70,000 and above bracket, although mine is a single household. I do fit in right in with some of the other categories, though. Yours is a very informative blog and I enjoy reading it.

The newspaper and magazine subscriptions ability are very appealing to me which makes the Kindle 2 even more tempting to buy.

Michael Hyatt Blog : The Kindle After One Week

Very good review, Mike. I am definitely toying with the idea of getting a Kindle 2 just for the convenience of not having to carry the weight of books around. I don't know how long it will be for my desire to become a reality, though. Time will tell.
