West Ham Till I Die : Match Preview: West Ham v Doncaster Rovers

What happened to Guy Demel? Has he done a Hitz the Hammer on us? I'm going for a 2-0 win today. Maynard will grab one and I think its either a Tomkins set peice special or a No nonsense Mark Noble penalty. COYI!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, Faye...what a difference he makes! Anyone goes near him with a football and he just says...no thanks...and smashes it up the field, no nonsense, no faffing about. just a good old fashioned put your foot through it and get rid of the danger. for that alone I retain him for next year for the bedding back in season back where we belong. COYI!

I agree with JonnyPD. I can't wait to see us without Nolan taking up an automatic spot in midfield, but IMO, even if we win the next 3 games 5 - 0 he will still get back in the side. Noble & Diop are our best pairing I think. Noble is a real grafter and has a good pass on him, whereas Diops bread and butter is winning the ball and laying it off, keep it simple. Collison & Lansbury would be the replacements if needed. Also, alot of people seem to have Vaz Te down as a winger...he's not! He is a Centre foward, he can play out wide on the left...is the same way Baldock can. Not very well in comparison to playing down the middle. He gets alot of his goals with his head and timing his runs into the box to get on the end of crosses is what he is best at. Although I do think that playing him out wide on the right would be an idea, with Taylor on the left he'd be deadly getting on the end of his crosses.

Vaz te is not really a whipping the ball into the box player...he's more the sort of player you want in the box, he scores alot of goals with his head! Being on the right will be good news for us tho, with him making runs into the box and Taylor putting the crosses in! trust me!

the players should look at themselves rather than looking for someone to lead them in my opinion. Sometimes as a player you need to say look, I'm having a bad spell, get someone else in that can pick the team up and I'll go back to the training ground and apply myself and wait for my chance again. Thats my opinion!

I know what your saying...its a little bit too attacking to not have Diop in the holding midfield role though...unless you used noble/collison as a deep laying playmaker, not the anchor man as much, just sitting a bit deeper. Lansbury wont he here next year so I'd give the nod to someone who will be!

I think he thinks we just want to win! Regardless of how we do it, which is...sort of true, but not entirely...I am always happy when we win, but I would be alot happier when we lost if we tried to attack, tried to pass and move. All you can ever do it try your best...if it works, great! if not, then try again, you can't win 'em all! The manner of the Ipswich defeat is still really nagging at me, I can't stop the rot setting in because we were shocking, but if we had tried attacking football and it didnt work for whatever reason I'd be able to sleep alot easier at night!

questionable? Faubert may aswell have been in the Car park Tuesday! I think your right tho Reid/Faubert for Demel/Faye. Faye looks after our defence, he is the old head that keeps the shape and keep things calm!

I agree. I know if it was me I'd say to BS what do I have to do? Piq, Carew have been under perfoming and I get 10 minutes? Fairs fair! Let me have a go and if I dont perform I wont be moaning! I'd want answers, but then I'd probably be on the next bus to Burnley! Morrison is a good player, seen him play, but he's not the world beater that people seem to have him down for! He's only 18 and he's not match fit. I dont even think he's ready for the bench yet, but he will get more of a chance than Hall/Nouble will beause he's been paid for. You have to earn you place in the team, reputations count for nothing in my book! All I'd like to see is attacking football. Pass and move, play into feet or into space when you have the chance, I'm a firm believer in play the way your facing. Keep it simple. Once you have the basics down, the flair will come out itself if its there at all!

Why? Whats wrong with Goias! I could say the same to you about West Ham! Dont do it too yourself! I see what your saying about the formation, width comes from attacking fullbacks and you essentially have a 3rd CB in the shape of Diop...I'd support this formation.
