9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Here comes Microsoft/Nokia's anti-iPhone campaign

Oh Nokia. As much as I love your phones - I'm entitled to my opinions, I like the iPhone as well - I think you may have let Ballmer loose with the advertising this time.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : iPhone PRO concept features 4.5-inch edge-to-edge screen and DSLR lens mount

Okay, I like the dock. That's pretty cool. But it is way too big. And also, if Apple was going to out a projector in the iPhone, surely it would be built in? The rest of the design doesn't work. And 1.3 megapixels? Seriously? I know it's 3D, but that's nothing to boast about.

Err... No. I believe Sir Jonathan Ive and the whole design team would be sacked if they even thought about using that design.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Apple's App Store reaches 25 billion, next 25 billion won't even take two years

That would be great. I remember the prize they gave away for the billionth app, it was a Macbook Pro 17", a 32 GB iPod Touch, a Time Capsule, and a $10,000 Gift Card, which is pretty awesome. And once they gave away a 20" iMac, 10 60GB iPods (5 white, 5 black), and a $10,000 gift card. They were brilliant prizes - I wish they'd do those sort of prizes again.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Apple's hi-fidelity 'Mastered for iTunes' section gets new albums from Universal Music Group

This is great news! Now I just hope that Apple decides not to make such a small deal of the iPods this time around, so we can see some better upgrades taking place - I imagine the iPod classic may be saved by the high fidelity iTunes, as high fidelity tracks take up more space, so many people will look for more storage on their iPods. Or they may just release more storage options for the iPod touch. Personally I'd prefer the former, but we'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but can someone clarify how it will be possible to get Mountain Lion onto a Hackintosh in the first place? Apple have gotten rid of USB versions of the OS as well, so won't the only option be to torrent it?

I wonder what the deal is with Smart Covers then... I own an iPad 2, and I'm just hoping that if the iPad 3 also has Smart Covers, Apple will make them compatible with the iPad 2, as my current Smart Cover is beginning to look a bit worse for wear. But as others have said, provided the weight is the same - or lighter, if at all possible, but unlikely - the added thickness shouldn't matter too much to most users.

Bill is such a nice guy. Yet I used to hate him. Little did I know Ballmer was the man behind Vista, not Bill. And Ballmer has been running the company for 80% of my life! Sorry for hating you, Bill. I should really owe my computing knowledge to you - the first computer I ever used ran Windows 95 (a computer that we kept until 2007).

Haha, the computer room was probably the best part of that film, the rest was terrible. I hope Skyfall is better! It would be glorious indeed. It would be great if devices could charge through the table as well - like if you could incorporate an electromagnetic charging system underneath the glass and the screen, which could then connect and charge the, albeit future, iOS devices, and rid the Macs of another of their few cables.

Could be a money making scheme for Apple... but not very user friendly. ;) Hey, I'm just nit picking really. It looks like an excellent concept, and if it wasn't for the undoubtedly hefty price tag, I'd love to get one. Scratch that, I'd love to get one, but I just wouldn't be able to afford one!

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Apple Store coming to London’s world-famous Harrods department store

Yes they do, and so do John Lewis, but neither have an actual Apple Store in their stores. There is however, a dedicated section, but the products are often out of date, and there is rarely anyone around (in John Lewis certainly) to help. And M&S sell Apple products? I've never seen any. Maybe your M&Ss are bigger where you are.

Fantastic! I mean, Harrods is a great location, and I'd love to see Apple there, which is why it is fantastic. I think Apple should team up with John Lewis or PC World/Currys though, and have Stores in Stores there - Apple would be a lot more accessible across the UK then. That being said, usually when I visit PC World or Currys, they are pretty empty, making John Lewis the better bet.

It would be nice if Apple could focus more on bringing stores to new cities/states and countries, rather than just adding more to cities with existing stores. But I realise if Apple is looking into opening a store in this new location, it will probably be a few years before the plans go through, and the store opens.
