"One property owner said several of his condo renters have expressed concerns about noise." - I find this statement the most humorous.

Are they going to "shush" the 70,000 people 2-4 hours later who are in the stadium. That whole 2 mile area is pandemonium most of the day on game day.

I'm not sure I believe she would have gotten off without a ticket. I was ticketed last week for tint as well in Marion and I'm a XXXL white guy in a station wagon.

I was sitting at a red light when the the officer made a U-Turn to get behind me...I was very calm and respectful to the officer - but I can guarantee I was getting a ticket no matter what I said.

Great post Paul - the only other "x" factor is audience. We have to be aware of what they want and desire - and only at a bare minimum do we want to "atomize" the content so they can find it.

What we need to do is become part of the community and stop fighting about which platform, brand, section, department - just put something someplace.

Not that I don't like to blame Hlas. But I'll take the blame for this Mike. (I'm Tom, the web guy at the Gazette)

I was messing with the buttons on the server and screwed up the comments. It should all be working now and will promise to be more careful in the future.

Sometimes this is the last opportunity to really be a bit carefree. Make sure you enjoy it - because when it's over...you've got to pay all that money back!
