I would look at the autoballoon capabilities in NX Drawing. Search the API for that feature, and see how you can extend it.

From a command prompt, navigate to the fcc folder at TC_ROOT. Go to the bin folder and should have a program called fccstat. Type that in and see if it's up and running. try starting it using the -h argument to the command to see the syntax.

Is your fcc.xml file (TC_ROOT/fcc/) correct? Look at the bottom of that file and verify the parentfsc address is correct and reachable by your client. Is the FSC running? If the parent is not running the client will not run. Go to the server and see if the service is running.

login to GTAC, and turn off all filters except the programming box, and see the examples that are out there. Also in the NX Install are some example programs in different languages.

This should work with NX5, what version are you using?

It is a variable you can put into the iman_profilevars file in TC_DATA folder. In Tc 2007.1 I have not tried this variable, and most likely called tc_slow_sql now, but you'll have to verify.

Reference applications and code snipits are a good option for learning about the API. Log into GTAC (http://support.ugs.com , uganswer) and turn off all filters except for 'Open' and look through the sample code that's out there. Most of it will be the older ufunc API though.

I'm assuming your referring to Teamcenter 2007.1 on the unified platform. Since the RAC is based on the eclipse framework, it requires a plugin. I haven't checked, but seems that you can download it from GTAC. Then drop it into the portal directory where the other plugins are located at.

Bob, I don't agree. Regardless if it was free or not, lets say a company said we are selling this for $5, when you get there they say that is only good between this time. I would consider that deceptive advertising, and hoping that you just buy the retail price and forget about the discounted advertised price.

hHis is was very badly done by this KFC chain and the corporation for not telling the retail outlets how it works.

You want the preview image to show up when you create a new part based on a template? I'm assuming you have all the templates managed in Teamcenter. Try doing a save of the template file in Teamcenter. The pax file will tell you which Teamcenter Item it is using for the template.
