However it is not one of the State&#039;s or SDOT&#039;s goals to improve traffic they just want to build more bus lanes and tax cars to pay for it. They then blame him for moving the transponder between vehicles for another one not working, why should that matter unless they do not read properly anyhow. I bet Mr. Whiting is tried of being hold, driving his car to be inspected and that accusations that he did something wrong by moving a transponder. Remember 80,000 miss reads on the Narrows Bridge that WSDOT try to ticket but their technology was proven to be faulty and the tickets where waived of through out of court. Tollbooths would protect drivers from such abuses of power. First at the Ship Canal Bridge $3.50 or more. This toll will probably be put on before the tunnel is done. What is more likely is for them to pre-toll the viaduct and I-5 and a $5.00 toll to avoid both by driving through downtown. They love tolls and will put as many of them on as they can. Traffic has been steadily dropping yet WSDOT continues to project large traffic increases.
