Hi folks, Im sure this may have been answered already but I've trawled these pages and cant find a definitive answer, I have a 3gs already jailbroken (not spirit ) 3.1.2 , unlocked (ultrasnow) on baseband 04.26.08. Bootloader 6.4 (f0recast ). I was all ready to download a custom firmware ios4 and do a shift restore when I read something about not being able to do this if my model was MC ? my model number is MC133B and was made in week 31 ( so I assume early bootrom)..So was I correct up to the point of doing the shift restore ?? and if so is the model number MC any reason why I should not continue ?Thanks in advance

I have a 3gs unlocked and jailbroken on 3.1.2 firmware with baseband 04.26.08 installed using a custom firmware made on a mac and installed using shift/restore then jailbroken with redsnow.......is this method going to be applicable to ios4 ?

do I jailbreak with or without sim in phone ?? using a t mobile uk sim or does it not matter
