Not a fan of the people involved here, but a couple things I don't get. $10M gov't contract is chump change...to both the company and these guys...just can't imagine Stern joining the BOD of SIGA to help them secure a tiny contract. Also, SIGA is a small company...55 employees, $350M market cap, 28M share float, $16M in revenue (and unprofitable) and $17M in cash...that's a small company. No analysts following the stock and a garden variety group of insiders and mutual funds as institutional owners. So unless they have a blockbuster drug in the wings, why SIGA, since there are much bigger players in this industry. I wonder if this is what they WANT us to see, while the other hand is busy elsewhere?

James and Andrew...way to stay on point. I can't believe (but perhaps I should) how many times Snufalumpolis tried to drag the conversation back to "...but you committed a crime" topic. WTF does he think ACORN was doing? What does he think padding a time sheet is? What does he think (fill in the blank) is? They are CRIMES that don't see the light of day under Snufalumpolis's brand of journalism. Rather than admit that the MSM missed the whole ACORN news and jump on the fact that a similar news event is unfolding around this CENSUS item, all he did was try to get you to 'admit' you had committed a crime (OMG...a misdemeanor!!!) on TV. That misdemeanor is a freaking Badge of Honor...wear it proudly...and keep up the great work James!!!

As long as we continue to refer to the liberal leaning media outlets as the "Main Stream Media", we continue to give them, by name only at least, credibility. We must do anything and everything in our power to strip them at every turn of any shred of credibility. So from this day forward, we should drop from our language the term "Main Stream Media" and adopt some other, more appropriate term when referring to this collective. "Lame Stream Media" is one option, but I am sure that better choices could be advanced by the more creative among us. We must do everything in our power to marginalize and attack this wicked form of propaganda in our society.

Folks....this group is a lost cause. Nothing will shut them down, but they do need to be marginalized. This group has been lost to the liberal machine grinding down the minds of our student generations in universities around the country. THAT is where the battle needs to be fought. We need to challenge the liberal belief systems being implanted daily there. These loons are not going to have there minds changed, that is of course, if they ever loose suction on the government nipple...in that case, if they actually have to go out and earn a living being involved in a business that HAS to turn a PROFIT to ensure its survival, then that dose of life reality might inject some sense into their clouded minds. Save that, they are lost forever.

BHO didn't even know ACORN was getting alot of Federal money....gimme a FREAKING break. This is too reminiscent of his explanation of his 20 years at Trinity Unity Church listening to Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Lest we forget, here is a quote from an 03/08 ABC article on the matter.... "In a campaign appearance earlier this month, Sen. Obama said, "I don't think my church is actually particularly controversial." He said Rev. Wright "is like an old uncle who says things I don't always agree with," telling a Jewish group that everyone has someone like that in their family. Rev. Wright married Obama and his wife Michelle, baptized their two daughters and is credited by Obama for the title of his book, "The Audacity of Hope." " But yet, he NEVER heard the hate speech there....gimme a freaking break. Well, we know he through this long time relationship under the bus when push came to shove, and getting elected at all costs was the desired outcome. Now we hear, "I never knew they got a whole lot of Federal money"??? Well, I guess that depends on what your definition of 'Is' is. Same song, different verse. Well we ever learn.

I have to give Ms. Lewis props for at least appearing on FOX...that took guts. Apparently Ms. Lewis has bigger b***s than BHO, who wouldn't go near FOX on his Health Care blitz on the MSM. I think caution is the watch word when it comes to the fed's defunding of ACORN. Her appearance on FOX may have just been a big FU to the conservatives that would like to see the organization go away. She may already know something that we don't...like BHO has no intention of signing any such legislation, if it even reaches his desk, that would defund ACORN. Just trying to take the cautionary view here.
