Film School Rejects : Remake Report: What Will a \'Warriors\' Remake Look Like?

The warriors was nice because it is in the era before assault weapons and crack, now it would not be break dancers who fight with fists, it would be like training day with only the gang side of it. This idea is just to different from the original, I would call it something else, and not try to re-imagine it.

Film School Rejects : Why Does \'77\' Look Like It Will Be Better Than \'Fanboys\'?

Is anybody else sick of hearing about star wars and people being in love with it, then writing into a script. Whether a tv shows like family guy, spaced, Simpsons, robot chicken that 70s show or fucking half the shows on television then also on film with most of Kevin Smith collection, fanboys, and I'm sure many other films that have some sort parody in them. I understand it is a common experience with most of the people living today, but when does parody become laziness. The parodies, I've like few of them, the Kevin Smith movies I liked a lot, but sick of it. Look, this film looks like it is going to be great and it doesn't seem like it is more than a bunch stars wars jokes strung together, but I had enough of with star wars parodies/jokes.

Film School Rejects : Eleven Movie Rumors We Wish Had Been April Fool\'s Jokes

Spike is quick, witty and kind of fluid to his character. Sure, Keanu does martial arts but he didn't three months before the matrix, and may look like him to, but he is not the actor for it because he does not have the essence of spike.

Film School Rejects : Culture Warrior: The 21st Century Movie Star

Eric Bana is a movie star, hardly. I never seen one of his movies that have been recieved well by both critics and fans, if he has fans. If I were to ask ten people on the street who Eric Bana was, maybe one or two would know. He is an actor, not a movie star. Dupilcity looked like oceans 14, with no one else besides Julia Roberts playing a one dimentionally bitch for hour and 30 minutes with Clive Owen thrown in as one dimentionally subservate man that is so common in movies today; because female impowerment means that a male character can't have any balls. The movie seems to be nothing new. The way the preview is setup you know that they will get away it in the end, but who really gives a shit. This has been done, and it has been done better.

Film School Rejects : Discuss: Can Depp, Del Toro and

It just seems like ego trip. Like there going to add depth to the three stooges or something. The stooges don't need depth, or some rehash of the stooge's material. If I want to see the three stooges, I would buy the dvd from the 3 dollar bin at walmart, not 9 dollars for movie ticket from two actors that have communist ties and one that has to keep proving he is a great actor. And Farrelly Bros., if you want to do drama then do drama, don't half ass it and give the people a heart felt comedy.

Film School Rejects : Culture Warrior: Watchmen and the Epic Running Time

The Watchmen movie is a lot to take in, and while the running time may seem long, it still has some distance to go before reaching the scope and depth of the graphic novel. It is a lot of characters to explain in a two and half hours, and these characters are each unique and immersive the audience really has to get to know them. I think The Watchman as a movie this is the best an audience is going to get, but it may be a short time before it gets translated again into a miniseries. The miniseries medium needs to be rethought. Maybe someday a studio will instead of a 100 million dollar 2 to 3 hour movie, make a 12 to 20 hour miniseries that has the necessary scope and depth to tell the story to its fullest extent and giving each character the necessary screen time they deserve.

Well then it should have been made into a miniseries. Look to Band of Brothers, I see that as a true translation of a novel format. It is able to tell many different types of stories, while having a well maintained overall story arc. When compared to its counterpart of Saving Private Ryan, people general say that Band of Brothers is better of the two. This is because it is able to give the audience more time to live with the characters through battles and through the downtime.

Film School Rejects : WTF: Seriously. Grey’s Anatomy Sucks. Seriously.

all characters sound the same, character A will get mad or sad about character B and then give a long talking point that gives up way to much information to character C, which character C will act like there not listening but then yell at character A for talking too much but also tells them how to stop being sad or mad at character B. Here is every episode 2 paients, paient A has a relationship problem that helps anyone of the doctors with own relationship problem. The larger ladies have a problem in there relationship but will pretend to be strong through it until the season's final episode in which no one really will care how they get through it. excess characters will do something wrong, in which character A,B, or C will have to fix and Character A,B, or C becomes real bitchy about it but doesn't get them in trouble. paient B, a very Old person or very sick person will die at the end of the episode because some music by keen came on, There I written every episode of "grey's anatomy" grey and Mcdreamy will end up together long past any one caring. There is now no reason to watch this show so filp to 30 rock.

Film School Rejects : Kevin Smith to Handle a Couple of Dicks?

I love Kevin Smith the writer , but as far as Kevin Smith the director, he could use some help. I'm sure that it will good as long as they use Tracy Morgan correctly, lately on 30 rock he has become more a cartoon character rather than a real person, and I always thought he was way more funny in the first season. Kevin Smith has lost some of his luster after Jay and Slient Bob Strikes back. Clerks 2 was okay but was more bent on being ranchy than dealing with the story. Kevin Smith needs this movie to be damn good.

Scorpion King made money. It was one of the biggest April releases ever, this fact doesn't make it un-terrible, but it does make it monetarily successful. That chun li movie looks as bad as that dragonball movie. They should put those two movies together and a make black hole of uncreative ideas, coupled with bad directing, while spinning in terrible visual effects. Or, use those two movies to torture terrorist, which is punishment worse than death.

Film School Rejects : Fans Move That The Joker Be Retired in Honor of Heath Ledger

There is no Batman without Joker. Ledger did it right, No matter what happens in the next film everyone is going to compare it to TDK. But if they're going to make something like seven films, then they need joker. Because as far as villains go they're are going through them like two a film. There is going to be a point where clay face and killer croc don't cut in the real world of Nolan's Batman. I think Nolan should wait a film before bringing back the joker, so there won't be as much pressure on the next actor who has to play him because right now in the fan community it almost seems like blasphemy to have someone else play the joker.

The Dark Knight was awesome, If the oscars want to lose money by not nominated it, who cares they have enough money. It won't stop me from watching the film a thousand times. The film may be snubbed here, but health ledger will get it supporting actor, they owe the picture that much, I'm sure. And Chris Nolan will get an oscar for a lesser work, like did with Scorese with Departed. All the movies that they nominate for the oscars isn't the answer to some SAT question so what they can go suck an egg for all I care.

really, like that story is worth retelling. It is the same as "ghost," it is also the story of the recent catwoman, max payne, two punishers, and spawn. Here is the plot, main character loses it all, or dies then comes back and gets revenage, I just saved everyone who read this 9 bucks. NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THIS MOVIE, IT HAS BEEN DONE, with flat characters and round ones. It is not about making it in Gothic or Documentary style. The crow also is such a 90ies story anyway, does an audience today want to watch another movie that about the kids in hot topic. Is this gothic crap ever going to go away. It seems like this trend should be over already.
