I think it was a money making scheme and she is in collusion with her captives. The assumption was always that the money would come from soft hearted Canada. I've got a queezy feeling in my gut too. God, I'm going to hate writing the tax check this year. Aid for the 'downtrodden' muslims in palestine and now this. Yep, I think I'm gonna go puke now.
Lower class muslims either have a submissive, fatalistic mindset, or if they get fired up, a thieving, murderous mindset. Higher class muslims tend to have a slaveholders or an extortionists mindset. None of this leads to developing a dynamic, productive society. I guess they can take some kind of sick pleasure in our suffering through these tough economic times because none of them had very far to fall.
When it comes to the innovation and forward thinking that will help us out of our problems, I sure won't be looking to the ummah.
Since any recognition of Israel would be within the context of deception in a time of war, I don't want to see any American tax money go there at all. This is, however a small step in the right direction. I think Obama is very aware that Americans in a failing economy will vote him out if huge amounts of money are poured down a bottomless pit. We truely have none to spare.
There is a lot of glitz in Dubai that can fool some women into believing they are living in a 'normal' place. They don't realize that all the malls, duty free shops, condos, etc. are like the small, shiny, white speck on top of a huge, green blob of islamic chickens..t
If some late night comedy show did a sketch about this or any other act of muslim stupidity am sure it would be funny and I am sure it would generate howls of outrage in the ummah. When the very same act of stupidity happens for real, it's not funny and we don't hear a peep from the ummah, except for taquiya cover-up. I remember I burst out laughing when I read the heading on JW for the story about the Bridges TV exec. who cut off his wifes head. I thought it was a parody! But alas, no.

If that idiot of a DA and that idiot of a police commissioner can't do better at analyzing associations and motives, I doubt that any crime could be solved or prosecuted in Amsterdam. I wonder how the average De Groot or Van Dyck feels about their level of security?
I do believe that taxes are necessary, but I also believe that there should be a return for the money paid. There is absolutely no chance that any of this money will come to any good at all. It almost makes me physically ill to think of paying taxes for gaza, pakistan etc.. I think I'm gonna go puke now.
