Big Hollywood : Big Movie Flashback: 'The Iron Giant' (1999)

Get your facts straight Christian. The Giant was computer animation, which was then rendered to look like cel animation. I loved Iron Giant. In terms of it's left-right orientation, I think Brad Bird hasn't thought through the logical thread that connects his values to philosophical abstractions. Thus the debate over the slant of his film. I like that the main villain is a government douche bag, but I wouldn't conclude that reflects Bird's opinion of big government. Brad Bird also did the Incredibles, which many people felt contained Atlas Shrugged-like elements. Brad Bird denies any Randian influence.

Big Government : EXCLUSIVE: Ron Paul in 2009--‘I Wouldn't Risk American Lives' to End the Holocaust

Ron Paul was merely pointing out that America is bound by laws, as president he would be bound by the constitution. He seems to be the last politician left who recognizes a US president doesn't wield dictatorial powers. As Paul correctly states, Someone who wants to run off to defend another country or another people should be free to do so, but should not be able to use government to force others.

Big Government : Et Tu, Beck? - Part III: Erratic Multimedia Star Pulls Race Card Again

I think this was just some clumsily worded, extemporaneous riffing. If Walter Williams or Thomas Sowell were running for president vs say, Joe Biden, is there any doubt who Tea Partyers would vote for?

I rarely watch O'Reilly. I find the hosts on Fox Business way more interesting than just about any of the Fox News people.

When Bush was president, every meeting at every studio I worked at began with ten minutes of attendees trying to one-up one another railing about how stupid Bush was and how evil Cheney was. It was as if everyone had received talking points first thing in the morning and came prepared to regurgitate them at every meeting.

Big Hollywood : Andrew Breitbart Makes Big Screen Debut in 'Atlas Shrugged' (With Bonus Top Ten!)

I've seen the movie twice now. The first time I was bothered by all the imperfections, the second time, for some reason they didn't matter. The 7:05 Friday night showing in Westwood CA was completely packed. It was eerie how many Wesley Mouch lines paralleled Obama's last speech. Go see it!!! Actually, go see it twice!
