Who is organizing this, I looked up the site but I want to contact the people because my main complaint is that a lot of people want to show their numbers but they cannot get the Washington D.C. for various reasons. I do not believe that the Washington D.C. protest will show the exact amount of people upset. Can you help me with this. you can email me at tinamacd@msn.com

The people in Iran twitters and tweetied and got organized, the problem is here we are all spread out. Forget getting organized in houses, each little town, we need to have a march like the "million man march". They cannot see our numbers because we are too spread out. The news stations will only show the small turn outs and laugh at us as being trivial. If we put the word out that on a certain date we will all be in our state capitols in each state on the same date than people will get there. Can we just get our anger organized, our politicians are not listening to us and they cannot see the numbers. So how about at every state Capital, certainly we can all get to our capital cities on one day, most are within driving distance. If you want to do this contact me and I will start something. I am an at home mom, I have plenty of time, but we have to be committed and it has to be one central place per state or the numbers will not stagger them. We can even do this on a Saturday, plan a day trip. Get on a bus, walk, just get there PLEASE WE CAN DO THIS. Simply, we do not have time enough for the elections. The world will be a different place by the time the elections come around, I have worked with this bunch before. They wait for no one and neither should we.

Ok people, I posted this message this morning and got a few responses, but I would like everyone to stop their bitching and do this. Enough talk. I have heard that there is a march on Washington, but as I mentioned not everyone can get there especially us on the west coast, but we can get to our capitols. Most everyone can get to their's in a day trip, so lets get organized. Are you serious or not about being upset. Tea parties are fine to get organized and discuss our new leaders etc. but we need a march now to show the numbers or we are just going to keep getting dissed. you have to put it in the URL at the top where the butterfly is because there is not enough traffic for it to be in internet explorer. Hope that helps.

I still think we should do one for every state on the same date and not a holiday. I have a site up it is www.we-can-do-this.blogspot.com. I just want everyone to have the opportunity to be somewhere and a lot of people just cannot get to Washington and they want to show their support. It is not a matter of priorities, it is just not a possibility for some people to go that far that are in the west.

Hi, what state are you in. If I can get something going for another date the same date for each state would you be interested. I am just afraid that Washington is too far for some, and too expensive for some to get there, time off etc. Most capitals are just a gas tank away. I am at we-can-do-this.blogspot.com

I am having some trust that people can act like civilized human beings. After talking to people in each state we can get central areas in each capital to meet. I did not hear about the tea parties getting too crazy. And if we can have a show of numbers that is all I am looking for. I don't tweet either, but I did just put up a blog at we-can-do-this.blogspot.com. I have not completed it but it is up and running.

My feelings exactly. I think that I heard that that was just a thing with D.C. because it is the capitol. But I never heard of the illegal immigrants needing one for L.A. or elsewhere, so I say lets just do it. Ok from what I am hearing there is a march on Washington already in the planning, has everyone heard about it, I did not, around July 4th. What about the people that cannot get there, I stil think we should have one for each state capital. A show of people in each state (50 or so states) would provide an opportunity for more people than one big one in Washington.

I think we need to set up on in each state also, because a lot of people cannot get to Washington. 50 or so marches on each state is better than one that people cannot get to. But I have not heard anything about this. Please tell me I am in Utah.
