i live in a right to work state, so unions are not particularly an issue for this state. however, i am so tired of the whining that is common amongst educators at all levels. i am married to a professor, and have several family members in public education, with a grand daughter on the way.

the hours are great, lots of time off during summer, and extended holiday time. the wages are good. in this state, teachers have to pay most of their health insurance, and put something into their retirement. the states with unions are sorely abusing tax payers.
