The fact of the matter is that a hospital is to protect people. Now are their flu germs around the hospital from other people? Sure. The hospital, however, is trying to take one more step out of the equation to keeping the flu away from people.. on top of that fact is that its a place for SICK CHILDREN, who are more prone to death from the illness. Im a firefighter. Am i going to go into a burning house without my SCBA because "god gave me membranes and enzymes to keep toxins out of my body" but you know what? I CANT enter a house unless i have my SCBA on cuz it can cause severe injury or death if i dont. Not only to myself, but the people whos lives and property im there to save. Im not going to make a stand to the fire department and not wear an SCBA into a burning building. My job is to SAVE LIVES, not prove a point. Just like its her job to save lives.
