yakima is one of the most corrupt comuniteis in the united states before they worrie about the baristas they need to clean up the leagle system. and they are one of the most crime riddled cities ive ever lived in have we forgotten the black eye they gave the state makeing national news for its drug problem?? they have an out of control police department. judges have been busted drinking on the bench . and i could go on and on. the chief of police was hired out of texas and in his first week the city had to pay his plane fare back to texas to fase charges of corruption there. they were aware of this fact when they hired him. even made a coment publicly that he would be a perfect fit.
there is some pretty poor parenting going on out there today.

your right the age difference here is not the issue how ever we have know age listed on her in the storie(i found this fact to be rather curious, fairness in the press and all, is this another example of the mediea leaveing us to our own imagination? working a better angle on the storie??) the issue would seem to be flatly the substitue teacher student boundries. however the most thought provokeing statement in the storie is the last line.....no other information was released. it was a short article leaveing penty of room for all of the information that they did have.....Thunder wonders
aw come on peaple these kids were eather in a no-walk zone that had been stolen from the property owners by the city or on someones property, eather way the little brats had been asked and told not to be there and even warned to what would happen. and an airsoft toy is not a gun!! and it is not a step below one eather. granted this situation could have been handled differently. perhaps the parents could have been aware of what there childeren were up to and were they were. not so hard to do. and when mine gets into this sort of trouble my first questions are what her part was. here's 35 cent and start being better parents before the fact.......thunder rolls
it's the last lines of the story that realy ratteled me. i guess you follow orders until after they go bad than you were suposed to chalange them. i guess it never stops flowing down hill.
if what you are saying is accurate they are breaking the laws in place to govern those who are there to protect us and are getting away with it because of this lamb to slaughter attitude of civilians. just as we have no excuse for breaking anylaw not even ignorance of the law and will be held accountable by these officers they must and can be held accountable to the laws governing there actions. there is no excuse for eatherside breaking the laws.
what you fail to realize is that any officer has to have a clear reason to pull you over. they can not drive down the road and just decide that they are going to pull over all blue cars or young drivers or racially diferent or females. you have to acctualy do something to get pulled over and they are required to tell you the reason on first request of the one stoped. they aren't even allowed to sitt outside a bar at closeing time and pull over peaple on"suspicion of drunk driveing" that is illeagle. kudos to these two troopers on a lucky bust. and pray that this missguided 14 year old can be helped she obviously went with him willingly. we pray that someone can reach her and save her from herself now.
