Interesting. How did #24 get on that list? Doesn't seem to have any reference to @sparkcbc. :-)

Spark | CBC Radio : Cannot Click "Reply-All"?

Helen, 1) Comment frequently on other people's blogs (substantive comments.) 2) Whenever you leave a comment, enter your own Blog's URL in the comment form. It will turn your name into a link that will allow people to discover your blog. 3) Join Twitter, begin to follow people who you find interesting. Offer comments yourself. From time to time, you will then be able to provide a link to a new blog post from your own blog. 4) Add you blog URL to the signature block in the emails you send. People will often click through to you blog from there. 5) Attend some social media gatherings like Third Tuesday and PodCamp. Meet other bloggers. Exchange URLs. I always find that people I meet in real life are the most likely to subscribe to my blog and, even better, comment on it.

Thank God someone finally did the brave, smart thing. With applications, Wikis and collaborative sites seeping into more organizations, we can move much of the "I just thought you'd be interested" messages out of our Inboxes and into "I'll check it when I want to - and what the heck, I can search for it when I need it" places. Kudos to Nielsen.
