It would seem that the mayor of NYC needs to grow a set and start making examples and reigning in the NYPD for insubordination in the chain of command, starting at the top. They do report to him - do they not? A boss that would allow subordinates to walk all over him as they have will never be respected.
This subway dude needs charged with a crime not just suspended. Public officials that commit crimes need to serve double time.
We tend to overlook police abuse when it occurs in the ghetto, just as they did in Nazi Germany. As a citizen with roots that go back to our founding fathers, I refuse to overlook such illegal actions by the police or by a DA, that goes on in York County or the TWP. These actions need to be investigated and exposed by outside law enforcement, and those who participated need to be prosecuted as common felons times three. We do not need a police state in York County. We need honest government. This is just like the PA Turnpike corruption under Rendell.

Aren't they all AIPAC material? That is the crux of all of our problems in the USA from 9-11, to the economy , to multiple wars, to a government that gave the bankers immunity and made them rich after breaking the nation. Our government is run for the benefit of politicians kissing up to a wealthy lobby whose mission is to keep its own members rich and powerful and USA being a lapdog for another country, just to get reelected. They do this rather than governing for the betterment of the USA.

Apparently the concept of sovereignty where other nations actually respect leaders, countries and borders (unless they are actually attacked by said nation) has become an outmoded concept. Aside from Rome and Hitler, the neocons, Bush and Obama were the first in years to believe in this outrageous tact of attacking nations at whim.
