The man who was shot was calling the boy a n*gg*r and telling him that he needs to go back to Chicago (the boy is from Cedar Rapids) and stabbed him in the face multiple times. Yes the boy was wrong in shooting the man with an illegal gun, but really what was he to do in that situation? Sit there and let the man stab him to death or defend himself.
