Its a know issue. the chip is fried. Try putting it in the freezer (in an air tight bag) for 5 mins and then try to connect. if it does... then you know ur wifi chip is overheating ... if not then its overheated and gone kaput.

Hold both the home and power buttons to turn it off. Restart and put it in DFU and run the old jailbreak tool again!

I thought I had the same issue.. but the problem was different.. Win7 was just taking time to install the driver for the iphone then the DFU then something else... I had to run GP 4 times on the same phone to completely complete the jailbreak.

When you start the jailbreak process, look out for windows trying to install the driver. GP just runs ahead and then fails.. Wait till the driver is loaded, then run through the process again. After the 3rd or 4th time when all the drivers are installed, GP will run successfully .

you can try to run the battery out completely ... drain it down to 0 a couple of times ... then recharge full.

Umm just jailbroke my iPhone 4 on 4.1 with baseband 2.10.04 .. everything works great :)

Just that although i used limera1n .. when i check the app (stash) I see something called blackra1n .. Was this the name it was supposed to have?

Also anyone have a way to enable facetime.. out here in the UAE there is no option to enable it under settings-phone .. :(

I called up apple support once.. and they had the list of all the provider sims ive had on it .. It was officially unlocked .. so They could not say nothing :P
