That's too bad. I'll probably pick up '64 Godzilla but I can't see myself picking up mush Showa stuff after that anyway. Maybe a Jet Jaguar, but I'm sure that's a longshot anyway.

Ahh, I see. So while Hasbro technically had the rights, they didn't really compensate him for the fact that they used a personal design for a toy.

Actually I've got some of them on preorder on BBTS, but don't have any yet. They do look amazing, though. Love the art style and the affordability. I'm a sucker for original designs and backstory. And yea, I'm definitely excited for the future releases. The buggy for sure! I did actually link to the Acid Rain blog website in the interview, but I just linked to the main Ori Toy website up above. Thanks for the recommendation!

That they are. I just have mixed feelings with this one. Some parts are great, and some parts just aren't. I think I'm just comparing it too much to an RD EVA.

With an SRC? I would say probably too small. What kind of Kaiju toys? Vinyl or MonsterArts? If you're looking for a cheap-ish EVA toy the RD Unit 01 can still be found for about $35-$40 most places and it's freaking amazing.

I actually haven't had any issue with mine, although I do see how it could be a problem. throughout the transformation you're moving the windshield quite a bit. It doesn't necessarily feel fragile per se, but I can definitely see if some accidental cracking if you're not careful.

Hey guyver, first off, thanks for the comment. I'm glad to say that since having SHF Iron Man (and War Machine) in hand now that most of my negative sentiment towards the figure has changed. I thought that Bandai would pump out a figure that's on the low end of the SHF scale, but instead they impressed me by putting out, what I feel, is one of the best Figuarts to date. I also thought that we would've seen at least a colored Figma prototype by now, but I guess I shouldn't give Max Factory too much credit when it comes to timeliness.

I definitely agree with your thoughts on the Figma version. I'm a fan of the SHF Mark VI, but the Mark VII is my favorite suit. I just hope that the Figma version gets a release before the end of the year.

I guess that would be nice, but it is Gurren Lagann, which we all know doesn't have the strictest proportions :P. And I REALLY hope that Bandai continues with their SRC Gurren Lagann stuff. I'd kill for a King Kittan.

I really hope Bandai gives us some official info for SRC Big O soon. I've been thinking of just shelling out for the SoC version in fear that it might be a while before the SRC is shown. But that's a good point about SDCC, it wouldn't surprise me but I'm thinking at the next Tamashii event it'll be shown.
