I thank God for Phil Weece. Without Phil being placed in my life, I literally would not be on this planet. Phil has been doing youth ministry for around 30 years I think. He turned 50 last Saturday. He's well on his way to one of his lifelong goals to be the oldest living youth minister. :D He's climbing up a mountain tomorrow at a week long YouthQuake event in Colorado. Today he's whitewater rafting. Lucky dog! ;) I also thank God for Travis Roberts. I get to serve in the church office here with Travis every day. I also get to serve with him during the week as a youth coach. For 24 years old, he's got more wisdom than many people I know that are more than twice his age. And he's the biggest twelve year old I've ever known! ;)

i saw this a while back... JT is seriously funny! and almost too talented for his own good! he's also amazing as a producer! he's one of the most creative people i've ever come across, that's for sure! i've always been a HUGE *N Sync fan... still am, actually. If they did a reunion tour... I don't care how much tickets would be, I'd be there! :D

two of my old *N Sync CDs got scratched quite badly... I lost my Christmas cd... and somehow, my copy of the debut album looks like something took a bit out of it! so... i hopped on ebay! replaced all of my CDs for under $25!!! totally worth it Katie!

Here in the church office we do a bracket challenge each year. What's at stake? Just bragging rights. But can I tell you how good it feels to know that for the last two years, my bracket has beat out everyone else's!? Including a student pastor that played college ball, a children's pastor that used to be a sports writer and keeps pretty good tabs on it all, and our senior pastor that is an absolute college basketball nut! The fact that I really only follow KU basketball (ROCH CHALK JAYHAWK!) and no one else, and the fact that I'm a 26 year old chick doesn't help their pride at all! But it's good to bring them down a peg or two, right? :D I find the whole thing to be a lot of fun and VERY entertaining. And the fact that we will probably have the projector hooked up in the conference room to watch a few games this year is pretty stellar in my book! :)
