peace to decriminalization of marijuana! i would like to see it happen before i die of old age. i am now 60. stop the persecution of anyone for growing, selling, and smoking marijuana. that is a waste of humanity to persecute anyone for either of those reasons.

many of us have experienced the age-old resin coated oregano/pseudo hashish trick. what an eyeopener that was. i don't know that could be accomplished with regular weed, though. it hasn't prevented me from using oregano in my chili. the tax dollars that this could potentially generate is absolutely going to capture the attention other politicians. the political bereaucracies keep growing and their expenditures have resulted in very large budget deficits. l say legalize pot everywhere and stabilize these unstable economies from the tax proceeds.

i was just trying to inject a little humor by being facetious. i am 1000% in favor of getting rid of these unrealistic marijuana laws. the laws do more harm than good. and too many people have had their lives ruined by these unjust laws.

the whole justice system is set up to favor the wealthy and punish the middle and lower classes. heck, the wealthy don't need pot. they get the good prescription drugs, which are legal. painkillers, antidepressants, etc... and who are the police more likely to place in jail? the wealthy and well connected political officials? i don't think so. matter of fact, the wealthy are able to afford expensive attorneys, but if you are middle to lower class...you get a public defender fresh out of school. i will bet that in your experience as a Police Officer you have been in many situations where a suspect has asked you " Do you know who I am? ". this, of course, being the preamble being offered to you before you accuse another police officer, obviously well-to-do individual, politician, etc.. of wrongoing. pot smokers do not deverse to be the focus of your tunnel vision.

your logic is standard. no person can positively state that legalization of marijuana will result in an increase in crime rates. however, i can say that what our country has been doing to its citizens, regarding marijuana, should be a crime in itself. countless lives were ruined, jobs were lost, families torn apart, and all because of unjustifiable and unfair marijuana laws.

god doesn't exist aside from inside your imagination. so, it appears pot smokers everywhere have nothing to fear, but you and your self-promoting attitude. keep reading that interesting but highly implausible story you call the bible and stop telling others how to live their lives.

i take back everything positive that i've mentioned in favor of legalizing marijuana. growers, smokers, and eaters of this devil weed should be burned alive. why this sudden change in my attitude, you might ask. it has a lot to do with the current problem of obesity confronting many Americans. what about our fellow Americans who are already hampered with all of that fat collecting in their adipose tissue? legalization of marijuana could lead to feeding frenzies not unlike those of sharks and parana. the fat people would get fatter, possibly leading to exploding people who are not terrorists.

with the legalization of marijuana we should see all sorts of vaporizers of larger sizes and more realistic prices. this should negate any concerns about marijuana tar and smoke causing cancer in our lungs, i hope. also, consider all of the possible uses of weed used in cooking healthy foods. we don't even need to smoke it to get a little high. this is revolutionary politics and long overdue.

dear Patternfall, unfortunately i feel the need to wait until marijuana becomes legal. i wouldn't want to become another victim of our archaic marijuana laws, would i? and, no, you don't need to think at all. if it's illegal, that appears to be sufficient for you.

" When you're a mature perceptive adult and a parent, you'll realize that being an unproductive pot head isn't "cool". " i'm a 60 yr. old, but i guess that doesn't make me perceptive nor a parent. oh yeah, i'm retired, so i'm not productive. however, i do see at least a couple of Washington state politicians who are productive adult parents, and who are tired of people like you telling them what to do when it comes legalizing marijuana.

it's difficult to get lung cancer from eating food that is cooked using marijuana. when it is finally legalized, i foresee a great many new eateries that will start offering marijuana in all sorts of healthy foods.
