I have thought this simple concept for quite some time. It has long been a modern day star versus a part timer in the main event. It has been a really long time since we had two of the best colliding to determine true supremacy.

I want to get to the point where we are long past trying to prove that Roman is good enough, and where he is the bench mark and one of his counter parts are trying to take his place. Roman vs Seth in the main event of Wrestlemania could be my version of that. One of my favourite moments is Ultimate Warrior beating Hulk Hogan, two of the most popular stars opposite each other and one had to lose.

I have cancelled my WWE subscription for the first time, but they roped me in with a free month. I have been told that this is a complimentary free month. I haven't watched Raw and Smackdown in full like a usual do and I have missed my weekly podcasts this week. They have a chance to win me back but this might be the first time in many years where I might actually take a break from WWE.

My biggest gripe about this was that HHH's reign of terror undid all of the work that was put into putting Hurricane over in the first place. I get that the Hurricane was not a legitimate top level act but he did not need to be squashed like that.

They should try it as a once off show at the very least. Like when the Smackdown roster took over Raw because of travel issues or the snowed in episode of Raw.

Having Raw and Smackdown on different networks is a bit of a scary proposition. Last time we had the brand split, Raw got the best stars more often than not, and Smackdown got the leftovers. It seemed they finally attempted to make the rosters even when they were on the same network.

I genuinely worry for Jeff Hardy's health. He could barely move or get up after his match with Jnider Mahal at GRR. And when he lands the Swanton nowadays, he connects with his lower back which looks so painful, though could be a softer landing than landing more of his body on the mat.

I think there's room for characters like Carmella. Unfortunately, WWE doesn't have enough time to devote to every female roster member unless they book multi-women matches which add very little character development. I don't believe everyone has to be at the level of Charlotte or Asuka and others in terms of in ring capability but it does help if more do, than don't. At the end of the day, we do strive for the best match ups, I won't deny that, but I think we can live with people who aren't as good in the ring but bring other elements to their game. That's just my opinion. I'm not trying to change your mind.

I guess you'd be stupid to not use the briefcase to cash-in in the cheap way since they have established it as a normal process. There have been babyfaces who have cashed in on a heel in the past but luckily the heels were dastardly enough that they deserved to lose the belt in that fashion. CM Punk on Edge and Ambrose on Rollins come to mind.

You could argue that there shouldn't be a men's (and to be a lesser extent women's) MITB briefcase so that they can experiment with other divisions having a briefcase so that we're not recycling the same cash in concepts year after year. You could have a tag team and a women's one one year, or a tag team and a cruiserweight briefcase on another year, and possibly rotate King of the Ring as the following year's briefcase so that it doesn't always have to be a ladder match.

That would actually be a great idea. It's like a Tough Enough situation where the winner gets a contract but at least you know the winner has the skills to make it. And it also gets rid of the notion that you have to lose on your last day of NXT unless you're Asuka.

Still waiting for Bray Wyatt to revert back to Husky Harris and then we can have the rebirth of the Genesis of McGillicutty. And we can bring back the Nexus!
