I would have preferred the same battery capacity as Redmi Note 4's but I'm guessing the dual cam module probably canceled out that idea due to product design conundrum. Personally I won't even care if A1 is thick but hey that's just me.

If I'm gonna chuck this Redmi 3S Prime of mine any time soon, it's gonna be for A1 definitely.

Price seems problematic to me. It's cutting it very thin to Redmi Note 4's top SKU the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model. Myself I'd pay for lesser cam yet 1000mAh larger battery.

They're jumping the gun a bit here by trying to upscale Android One on Mi brand instead of Redmi. Either that or Xiaomi really did 1 upped Google by wanting to protect the Redmi line.

Gorgeous? Maybe... "Very powerful" however are subject to the separate SKUs' RRPs and from where I sit this wins no award bang for buck wise.

The top end specced Dell XPS 13 are still a cool up to RM2k LESS than this Surface and if Win 10 S annoys you enough, probably every GNU Linux distro under the sun are just a download away.

Nope. Just Moto completely as a subsidiary. And clearly the way Lenovo handles it, they're totally super cautious about bringing newer Motos in especially the Play or G badged models because they make a killing from their own Lenovo low - midrange lines.
