Thanks for reporting yourself. We are indeed having some issues with the Wordpress & Intense Debate interfaces.

We will assume that your comments about "cleaning house" etc were only said in jest and that ANYone who finds themselves with admin privileges will contact us immediately instead of joking about how much they can alter this website.

No, I just turned the computer on a few minutes ago came here made a reply under my name. Then remembered I had an errand to do so closed the page. Then came back and opened the page back up and bam, now I'm not me. So it didn't sit idle with the page open.

I certainly will. I have a dilemma though. I reported myself so that might be fixed. But I'm afraid I'm the one who receives those reports and as long as I'm logged in this way, nothing will be done to fix the problem. However, if I jump out of this body, someone more malicious might jump in before the right person is able to fix the problem. What do you suggest?

Should I really do that though? Come on, we are freedom loving people so we sort of have to put up with the down side of free speech. Though I am seriously temped to clean house.

I can shut the site down, block someone's IP delete post, and that's just what I've learned so far. This site is going crazy. Imagine if this happens to everyone like has happened to herbalremedy. I should report myself.

After I write this I find out that this is a way for the government to collect info because email that comes into the White House cannot by law be destroyed.

No one is meddling with this site. We posted a notice on the homepage yesterday that we were having problems and needed to disable comments while we worked on it.

No one seems to have read the post, however.

Not a Beta test. When the software was automatically updated it played havoc with the commenting system. We posted a notice about it on the front page yesterday. Commenting had to be disabled to try to fix the problem.

Hopefully we have fixed it.
