To avoid the headache of traffic. Having a better mass-transit infrastructure in the SODO area would most likely help. An infrastructure that people WANT to use. I'm assuming you're referring tot he light-rail but I avoid the Sounder train because it's twice the cost of the bus and gets you there in roughly the same amount of time. If it were twice the speed, maybe I would consider using the Sounder. Hopefully some of the people on the panel have some good ideas for traffic mitigation that actually work. I still wish we had a subway here.
