That's an attribute to the coaching staff. It is what it is. Iowa's recruiting classes are usually outside top 25, heck even 30. That 05 class is an exception and those seniors are more than solid. But if you look at the classes by OSU, Mich, Tex, Fla, ND... yikes, their top 15 players are usually 4 stars or more. I have Phil Steele mags for years now and for years they are like that. He posts numbers of position ranked for each recruit and those schools the guys are in the top 50 easily. For Iowa, they would jump to 100 or so after the 5th kid or so (and several not ranked).
