West Ham Till I Die : More Questions Than Answers?

Moving to the Olympic stadium would be disastrous imo. Traditionally the fans have been very close to the field of play at Upton Park, which can make for a fantastic atmosphere for the home side and an intimidating one for the opposition. Put in an athletics track between them and you immediately cut off the link between playres and fans. No, if we cannot develop Upton Park into a totally enclosed stadium then we should look at other sites, but not a soulless athletics venue.

Don't think it was a pen as young seemed to play the ball, also 57 looked offside when the ball came through... oh well, never mind! :D

Along with ex-gooner Alan Smith telling us that West Ham looked like a beaten side before half time! :D And by the way, what about our certain goal which was given offside?? I've watched it again and again and I just can't see it!

West Ham Till I Die : Stoke Match Thread

I love West Ham more than anything outside my family and friends, and even if we were relegated I will still be there to play my part. So now is the time to step up and support the manager and the team, because I believe Zola has begun something special at West Ham, and we all owe it to the club to play our part. I honestly believe we have the best supporters in the Premiership so let's use our passion and love for our club to push the team onward and upwards... and if you can't hack it, maybe think about a season ticket at Stamford Bridge is my advice.

To support West Ham you have to be prepared for a life sentence. The lows will outnumber the highs, results will often disappoint and getting in and out of the ground by car will always be a nightmare. But, every now and then, we will have our day out in the sun. We will win the odd cup or two, and we will achieve famous wins over our wealthier rivals. And on those days, you will really understand what it's all about. Because being a West Ham supporter is about passion, passion for the club, the colours, the team and the cause. When they play bubbles at the start of the games at Upton Park, the hair on the back of my neck still stands up, after 35 years of being a follower.

For those "supporters" who want to sack the manager and feel ashamed to be a Hammer, then go and find a more suitable club, e.g. Man City, Chelsea, etc. These clubs will be more suited to your temperament - you will win things because you will be able to buy success. You will sit in a cold, sanitised environment where you can discuss your latest £20m purchases with your fellow plastic mancs and before getting back on the coach for the long journey down the M6.
