Tidal offers lossless format music, which matters to some people. Their lack of videocasting support for Android is a deal-breaker for me though.

Personal news relevant to The Toast:

* I just bought a condo that faces the waterfront in a town north of Boston. The view out my living room window this time of year: moored boats 10 feet away. When they take the boats out in the summer, I'll see the water and nearby coastline. My life has been one long slow progression to the sea.

* I wasn't a Beyonce fan... Until Saturday night. OH MY GOD. I now have a kickass seat for her show in Foxborough June 3.
