And statistically there are 3-4 more bicycles in garages than cars. This bicyclist was not killed for riding with traffic, he was crossing a road that had a hill blind to traffic. I agree you cannot tell who was at fault from the article, I would assume that the biker assumed no traffic would be coming at that time on a gravel road. It is rare for a cyclist to be hit from behind while on the road, most accidents happen at intersections.
