Breitbart.com : Police tear-gas Iran protesters during prayer

Reading about this makes me appreciate my own freedom more. (I'm American) And I wish I could help the people in Iran somehow.

Breitbart.com : Suicide blasts at Jakarta Ritz, Marriott kill 8

"America Alone" by Mark Steyn is a good book about the threat of radical Islam. I think that we ought to de-invest in Saudi Arabia and other countries who secretly or not-so-secretly fund terrorism. One of the best ways to de-invest is to let us drill for our own oil in Alaska and other places in the U.S. Then we can really reduce our dependence on foriegn oil. (I don't think the cap and trade will help with that very much.) Of course my ideas aren't original, but they're good ideas, and I hope that the people in charge of this country adopt these ideas.

Big Hollywood : The Media: Wrong on Jackson, Wrong on Palin

I feel the same way about global warming that I do about Sarah Palin. A few months ago I would have thought that she was a book-burning ditzy Christian extremist, just because that was the general vibe I got from school and such. But now that I've started to follow the news more and pay more attention, and now that I've started to read the Drudge Report on a regular basis, I've found that Sarah Palin is an extraordinary American and a wonderful woman, and I would be proud to have her as my Governor or President. The moral of my comment is: we just have to warn our neighbors about the unfairness of the main stream media.

A lot of us commenting hear realize that the more the MSM bashes Palin, the more it shows that she's a real threat- but too many people who aren't commenting here just accept what the MSM says. A year ago, I would have told you that human caused global warming is real, just because everybody at school said it was, (I'm in college) and the news always said it was, and that was just the general vibe I got about reality: human caused global warming is real and riding a bicycle helped the Earth. But then I met a science student who directed me to some sources where I learned the truth about human caused global warming, but those sources were not as readily available- I had to go looking for them, they weren't just bombarded on me like the MSM is.

Breitbart.com : Defiant Obama seeks to revive health care overhaul

Obama's health care plan is not a good idea. Obama says, "Inaction is not an option." Why not? Sometimes the best thing for government to do is back off and let the private sector work. Health care in the U.S. will be better if Congress does not pass ObamaCare.

Breitbart.com : Mystery mechanism drove global warming 55 million years ago

Yeah, I'm undecided about Al Gore and the IPCC's real beliefs. Do they really believe in human caused global warming? How could they? It's so bogus. But maybe they're like pathological liars who start to believe their own lies.

I'll bet cavemen 55 million years ago were burning fossil fuels to cook dinosaur meat! That's what did it! Everyone knows that the weather adapts to what polluting humans are doing.

Breitbart.com : Palin resigning as Alaska governor

Why? Quitting in the middle of her term does not look good. What if she becomes President, and then she just quits? I think Sarah has something else in mind.
