Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : News From You

FYI - For those people who think that 912 Project is the same as the 'TEA PARTY'. It is not political, i.e.,Republican based,as some think. The 912 Project is Glenn Beck's idea for re-uniting ALL Americans, right,left, Democrat, Republican, Liberal,Conservative, etc. We have our 12 attributes which we feel are typical of all Americans. The 12 attributes are all about our country, America. The America based on its Constitution. We should support America together as one, just like we did the day after 911, hence 912 Project. I believe that if one would look at the 12 attributes, that the majority of Americans believe the same thing. 912 goes beyond political. We are frustrated with the same old, same old. The finger pointing, name calling, each saying our way or no way, where our government representatives waste more time arguing and blaming than on doing what we 'hired' them to do. Like Glenn says "they work for us, not the other way around". We support our president and want him/her to succeed in making America great. We do this no matter who is in the White House. We have the right to peaceful protest and saying what we mean when we feel the Constitution isn't being followed. We want the straight message. Not hidden causes, special interests, paybacks, etc. We need these to stop. We should focus on AMERICA. Too many of our representatives are in the realm of "whats in for me?", and they go for it no matter what it does to the country as long as they get what they want, get re-elected and continued to be "above" other Americans. That they, are SPECIAL, and what laws applies to us, doesn't apply to them. We must hold these people to a higher standard. Personally, in my opinion, we would be better off if with really did hire those with the talents for the respective departments the work for. The BEST of their profession. Single salary, no special interests or payoffs. We would have a main manager, a small staff,etc. but if they don't do the JOB hired for, we get rid of them and hire someone else, who will do the JOB. Yes, we need change! Boy, and how do we need change, but the types of changes that make our country continue to be great, i.e., follow the Constitution; a Judicial branch that interprets laws, not making laws; changes that will benefit ALL Americans and not just for those who think they know better than the citizens of our great country. America is what it is. The melting pot for all those who seek freedom and justice. America IS different from the European countries, which is what makes her great. We stand where we stand, because we have helped those in need at times in history where no one else would help. Let us not forget that. Let Europe not forget that. My regards Mr. Flynn, but you do seem to be blinded as to works in your own party. I would give 2 cents for either party. Both corrupt, both lie and to say one over another is just naive. Best wishes.

I never was very interested in politics until about 12 years ago. I began listening to Talk Radio, I began seeing in the media what 'Talk Radio' was saying. I found myself wanting truth, and when I finally could see for myself the bias from Hollywood, TV news, advertising, newspapers, and other radio programs, I began paying more attention to O'Reilly and Beck. I believe in the approach of secular progressives thanks to O'Reilly and the emphasis on 'truth' through Glenn Beck. I got to a point that I agreed along with what Glenn said. He wasn't a Democrat, nor a Republican, but he searched for the truth. I reliazed that the solution is so simple. Focus on the Constitution. The document for which this country was built, based on faith in God and government, being the servant of the people, not the other way around. John Kennedy said it best. "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". We now have people who cannot, nor will not, take responsibility for themselves and what they do, i.e., our Congress, Courts and Representatives. Everyone is out for the bucks for themselves, not for doing what is best for the Country. Hence, they are owned by the special interests from which they benefit a very great deal. Big business on one side, the poor, illegal aliens and needy on the other. Both are the means to which the current two parties accumulate their power. Voting has become a vote for the lessor of two evils, and/or the persona's of individuals seeking office. All of this being hidden in the huge gray area that each party has attributed in creating to compound the ambiguity. The black and white areas have been forgotten and the silent majority ignored, but are the backbone of this country. The American middle class. The 912Project is astep toward "waking the sleeping giant", those of us in the middle. It will be ours to right these wrongs, to bring America back to unity and pride that has made us the envy of the world.
