Whoa, not true. I watch it for a bunch of reasons, one being that it is rich with emotion. It has great music, great characters, great story; in fact, every episode builds onto the plot. There is not one throw-away episode. A lot of the beginning episodes don't seem that way at first, but actually provide a lot of foreshadowing. Definitely one of the most well-designed shows out there.

Wow, all the people trash-talking Steven Universe. I think most people dismiss it because they think it's merely an annoying comedy, when in reality, it might be the most poignant, emotional show I have ever witnessed.

This takes place earlier on in the show, but contains somewhat of a spoiler. It's one of a plethora of examples I could show that SU is so much more than some people dismiss it for:

BTW, Steven may sound annoying at first, but he's very young at this point. He matures a lot throughout the show, as was intended.

Actually, they aren't even genetically related (well, unless you go far enough back, so we're not counting that) if you go by this chart. https://derpicdn.net/img/view/2015/10/24/1009216_...

They're only possibly related through a marriage. They're less like cousins and more like distant in-laws, if I'm getting that right.

Don't knock it 'til you try it, as the saying goes. I think the cease and desist was a blessing in disquise. Mane6 reconcentrated their efforts, and now we get something that is fresher and more creative than just a fighting game with MLP characters would have been. My two cents, anyways. I can't wait to delve into this new world.

I'd be surprised if they didn't include a species indigenous to the savanna. Giraffes, zebras, warthogs–so many possibilities.
