Yes, thanks for this. Only quibble is that Iron Dome is probably close to useless, it's a big Military Industrial boondoggle, paid for largely by the US taxpayer. The rockets haven't done more damage because they are actually that crappy.

I'm pretty sure the big shots who nearly tanked the world economy in '08 and the elected officials who bailed out said big shots with many, many truckloads of taxpayer money, have no real idea how capitalism works.

My experience being on a jury was that the opposing lawyers were the football teams, the judge was the referee, the defendant was the ball, and the jury was the field. Also, several of my fellow jurors were crazy, and almost none of them could think critically about evidence or defend against attorney mind tricks. Very frustrating.

I suspect that's the point. The state didn't even arrest him until after the national outcry. The prosecution may well have been taking a dive.
