download fuzzyband from cydia and if you have bootloader 5.08 - you can downgrade BB to 5.13 which is the last unlockable BB. If you are on boot loader beyond 5.08 its just not possible at this moment.

You dont expect dev team to be on blog and twitter 24/7 updating you what they are doing, infact try to understand if they are not on blog or twitter they are working hard to get you the JB and unlock...

Internet Teathering comes back if you use an ATT sim but it does not come when you use T-mobile Sim

My Tmobile unlocked Iphone 3g is working as good as any other ATT Iphone

Iphone 3G
4.2.1
BB 6.15

GPS - Working
Batery lasts long
Push Notification working - thanks to SAM and push doctor
multitasking - working

i dont see that bb 6.15 is not compatible with iphones

and the best part iswe can keep this bb forever and the unlock can stay forever too.

The only thing whic is not working is internet tethering - which is apple problem as they took out that option from unlocked phones. but i am sure we will find a fix soon.
