How would you have felt if a non-union shop had done the electrical or any other part at the new hospital with people the contractor took off the street because that is where non-union labor contractors get 95% or more of their untrained people. At least the people from Trinity knew what they would get from union labor as this job was specified to be "union only" and it did come in on time and in budget as they put in the paper and TV. Are there some questionable unions? Yes but every part of our economic system has bad apples. What I have seen about people who usually criticize something they don't know anything about is they lack the initiative to better themselves and try to belittle those that have made the effort to be the best they can be.
