WAVY.com : Chopper 10: Accident on 168, Feb. 9 | WAVY.com | Chesapeake, Va.

The Waco cop was not the only officer that helped me that day. Another officer from DPS in Robinson in an undercover truck pushed me out as I slid backwards into a ditch on a highway and then followed me two miles down the road before pushing me out again during a turn onto Hwy77. He said he knew I was going to run into trouble again. lol But what shocked me most was on Hwy 77, was about 10 minutes later, as we drove down the road, there was a white Lincoln Continental that was on 2 wheels. If that officer had not follwed me, he would not have been able to assist this family in serious need. I wanted to stop and help too. But if I had, I would have only caused more trouble since I had a hard time starting up each time. What annoyed me the most was a man (was he from the the car?--hard to say) was trying to wave down people for help. People just drove on by! I thank the officers of Robinson and of Waco, Tx as well as our Texas DPS officers that day. For the ice storm that drove through Texas took everybody for a ride!

I am not a good driver on black ice even with my truck. I have pretty much learned that now as a new driver. During this past ice storm in McLennan County, Tx. (2011), I got stuck 5-6 times within four hours time. I even almost hit a cop's cruiser with the front of my Jeep as it skidded in a turn without warning. I ended up blocking traffic for the detour!! I will never forget the Waco officer for being there since he was so kind in helping me get unstuck!

HGTV Green Home : Energy Efficiency of HGTV Green Home

Will there be a grid underneath the driveway and grass so that it can collect rainwater & reuse it? Will there ever be any considerations on building an Asian style home? There is so much that you can do with a house like that as well that is also, "green." And finally, why did the company choose to go with a large truck and not a car that gets excellent mpg's for the green home?

HGTV Dream Home : Your Perfect Day at HGTV Dream Home

Either way, she will still have to pay the taxes on the house. What I am curious to know is, with the way the housing market has been, it may take some time still for the house to sell. I'm not saying that it won't. But people also have to be realistic too. The higher priced a house is, the less likely it will sell overnight. Television does help, but it varies with who has actually seen the advertising and who hasn't. Even then, she is going to have think through who she feels the best realtor will be for the job. Realtors can't go to people; people have to come to them. I do wish her luck in trying to sell it and it is her choice to do what she wants to do with the property.

The down payment for a house is hard to come by since jobs don't want to pay students much of anything. Plus, doesn't there always seem to be something that goes wrong right when you have a little bit of extra money? This summer, I am supposed to graduate with my very first bachelor's degree. It has been a long haul, but I am hoping something good will come out of it. After I finish with this degree, I intend to go back to school for my M.S.e.D. so I can teach school. I do hope you are able to get out of your apartment eventually. It's good to have a roof over your head, but it's even better when it's a place that you can call your own where nobody can tell you what to do.

You are right, it does seem a bit weird and calculated. My house burned two days before my birthday in July 2008 when the contractors came over with a supposid simple job that anyone could do. A lot of my pets died in that fire. When I came back home, I learned that they had snapped the tree on a gas main and it went straight up through to the electrical wiring. I was in between insurance companies in which I had just left Friday to go to another on that Monday. The contractors turned out not being bonded (which I later found out). I never knew about those things before. I do now! To this day, I am still stuck in an apartment myself as many other people are.

This Dream home is really pretty! But can next year's dream home be close to places such as the grocery store, gas station, schools, etc. To me, a dream home should be one that's in a convenient location in where you don't have to travel such a distance to get things done. I know there are people who try to get away from the city, but there are those who enjoy the comforts of it's short drives or walks.

I would start out with a glass of cold orange juice and put together my portable art studio so that I could paint the scenery outdoors since they have a tendency of changing over time. Painting the scenes the way I want it could take all day depending on details (such as animals nearby). By evening, I would relax by the fire with my loved ones knowing it couldn't be more perfect than this.
