<description>Income over $32,000 causes some of your social security to become taxable.  That $32k threshold hasn&amp;#039;t been increased one dime in years.  Every year more of our SS becomes taxable.  Haven&amp;#039;t heard any pols talking about raising the threshold, let alone eliminating it.  This year we have to take $2000 out of our shrinking IRA to pay the taxes, now our income next year will be $2000 more over the threshold.  Sinking here, where&amp;#039;s the life boat? </description>
